As Store Manager your responsibilities will be:


                          -              Applying Commercial skills to meet sales and cost budgets

                          -              Recruiting, developing and retaining staff

                          -              Ensuring your team deliver good customer service 

                          -              Meeting operational expectations by implementing and maintaining high retail standards

                          -              Motivating staff 

                          -              Dealing with enquiries and complaints

                          -              Serving customers 

                          -              Effective store merchandising

                          -              Helping organise promotions

                          -              Managing deliveries from suppliers

Hours:

You will work 35 hours per week, which includes weekends. 

 

 

Skills and Interests:  

You will need a range of skills, notably: 

                           -             The ability to work as part of a team

                           -             The ability to lead and motivate when necessary

                           -             Excellent communication and 'people' skills

                           -             A strong commitment to customer service

                           -             The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations

As Assistant Manager your responsibilities will be:

Head Office Operations Assistant


We are looking for a full time Operations Assistant reporting to the operations Manager at our Head Office in Kennington, South East London.

You must be an energetic team player who is able to multitask and prioritise. You will be communicating daily with our stores and supplier so an outgoing personality is essential.

 

The job consists of assisting the Operations Manager in daily tasks such as:

                          -              Ensuring Health and saftey details are up to date 

                          -              planning and organising new shop opening package

                          -              procurement of stationery supplies companywide  

                          -              Meeting operational expectations by implementing and maintaining high retail standards

                          -              Ensuring CCTV systems are in goos working order 

                          -              Dealing with customer queries as requried and supply images when needed

                          -              ordering and maintaining inventory of store fixture and fittings 

                          -             maintaining and updatingn records on Epos systeam 

                          -              Liaising with store staff and managers on a daily basis

                          -              Dealing with the general office duties 

Hours:

You will work 35 hours per week.

 

 

Skills and Interests:  

To do this effectively you will need the following skills and experience:

                           -             Highly numerate 

                           -             Team player 

                           -            Able to work to deadlines 

                           -            Good Verbal and written communcation

                           -           Attention to detail 

                           -             Previous retail exprience would be great but not essential 

                           -       Proficient with Excel

We are a greeting card retailer with 32 stores across the UK, as well as a personalised card website. We are known for our rude jokes and outrageous sense of humor. Our shops offer a range of greeting cards as well as stationery and quirky gifts. Our website offers print on demand cards that can be personalised and we hope to add gifts and stationery online next year.
