Not only will you learn how to paddleboard but you’ll also learn a bit about the history of Regent’s Canal and the surrounding area.  Oh and you might even spot an animal or two as we pass London Zoo. This bestselling experience makes the perfect gift for those with a love of adventure.</p><p>In this experience, you will learn the basics of the board.  The first thing you should know is that this sport is actually called SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding).  Everything else you will need to find out from the SUP experts - how to paddle, steer, stand up and get back down again – mastering the basics that make you fall in love with SUP. This is a full intro to SUP from water safety and basic paddle techniques.  But it’s not all hard work, you’ll have a lot of fun along the way.</p><p>Launching from a central location near Camden market, your 90 minute lesson includes instruction and the tour, which travels through Primrose Hill, past the iconic Feng Shang Princess floating Chinese restaurant, past London Zoo and part of Regent’s Park before we turn around and head back to base.  Sessions operate Wednesday-Sunday from April through October.  You can also book private lessons for one, two or four people.  Be sure to read the FAQs on what to bring/wear.  See you on board!</p><p><strong>Under 18's</strong></p><p>The river and canal SUP group trips are mostly made up of adults. The venue was originally an old Victorian police station and the old lags who found their way into the establishment would be more than a little surprised at the makeover. It still has atmosphere in spades, but this is achieved with the twinkling lights around the bar, pinging off the bottles. <br />They also has a fabulous 52 seater cinema. Sit and sip a classic cocktail, while watching a cult classic, Hollywood hit, or independent gem. The cinema is newly built, but with the wood floors, brick walls and panelling this is film buff heaven. <br />Past showings have included ‘The Big Lebowski’, future listings include ‘Eraserhead’ , ‘La Haine’’ and ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’. Eco right down to the end of the wick. Dai-KOR  creates luxury statement candles, exquisitely scented to enhance your mood. Their collection is filled with candles as ‘art’. Knots marbled like beach pebbles, ‘body’ candles speckled with gold leaf that perfumes the air with the light scent of afternoon tea, or cut glass jars that twinkle as the wax burns down at a very s-l-o-w rate.</p><p>Learning how to make candles is a rather delicious pastime. This class takes place in Shoreditch and lasts for 60 zen minutes.</p><p>While you eat a cupcake your candle guru will take you through the skill involved in the pour and scent. The game was played after dinner, and involved a couple of books and a golf ball. Nowadays we have paddles, a net, a somewhat lighter ball and Nicholas, the Indytute table tennis coach. Nicholas hosts ping pong events all over London, so if you want to stun your family or friends on your next holiday then Nicholas is the man for you. Nicholas is winner of 'Young Coach of The Year' and is Former National Level Junior Player in the UK.  This table tennis lesson is at the fantastic Bounce in Farringdon.</p><p>You will be learning the basics of Ping Pong. How to serve, how to place and direct the ball, and how to chop and smash. In fact how to destroy your opponent (in a moderately friendly way). The lesson will end with a fun, mini tournament against the other students in the class.</p>
