Terms and Conditions for entering the Scribbler Father’s Day competition

The following terms and conditions are relating to the competition called ‘Father’s Day competition’ run by the promoter Scribbler Holdings Limited of 9 Harmsworth Street, London, SE17 3TJ.

How to enter:

To enter, users must be residents within the UK and aged 18 or over and must ‘follow’ our social media pages, ‘like’ the competition post on the relevant social media channel, ‘share’ the post, and submit their entry as a ‘comment’ within the comment.

The competition will run from 22nd May – 23.59 14th June 2018 2018 (GMT). One winner will be chosen from Facebook. Winners will be chosen at Scribbler’s discretion and will be contacted via Direct Message on the relevant social media platform in which they entered the competition on the 15th June 2018.

-          The promotion runs from 22nd May until 23.59 14th June 2018. Any entries received after this date will not qualify and will become redundant.


-          Entry to the competition is free and no proof of purchase is required. Scribbler Employees are not permitted to enter the competition.


-          Entrants must be residents of the UK and aged 18 or over.


-          No cash alternative will be provided and the prize is non-transferable, nor refundable.


-  Winners must confirm their prize by responding to the Winners DM notification by 1pm on the 30th June 2018 and provide details of their home address in the UK.  Prizes unclaimed within this timeframe will be donated to a registered UK charity of Scribbler’s choice.


-          Entrants can only enter with their own name and Scribbler reserve the right to request proof of identity and age. In circumstances where this is requested, Scribbler will comply with the standard procedures laid down in the UK Data Protection Act to ensure that all personal information provided is kept secure and used only for the purposes of verifying the required information.


-          By entering, winners agree that if they win, they will participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by Scribbler, including consent for the winners’ names to be published on, Scribbler’s Social Media Platforms, and/or made available upon request by way of a ‘Winner’s List’.


-          Scribbler reserves the right to cancel the promotion, amend these terms and conditions and refuse or cancel any entrants which are reasonably believed to be fraudulent or fail to meet the qualifying criteria.


-          Prizes will only be posted to named winners and their UK address.


 Participant guidelines

  • Minimum age: 17 (under 18s need parental/guardian consent) 
  • Minimum height: 5ft
  • Maximum height: 6ft 6in (6ft 4in at Honiton, Lochgelly, Lydden Hill, Mallory Park, Prestwold, Dunsfold, Long Marston and Elvington Airfield)
  • Maximum weight: 18 stone (20 stone at Cirencester, Saint Agnes, Woodbridge, York, Honiton, Lochgelly, Lydden Hill, Mallory Park, Prestwold, Dunsfold, Long Marston and Elvington Airfield)
  • International licences accepted. All participants must hold a full driving licence and present the original at the event.
  • All drivers must have a good understanding of the English language for instruction purposes
  • All drivers need to be in reasonable health
  • Please note: anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
  • Family, friends and children are welcome to spectate. Viewing is available for spectators. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
  • The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location
  • The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover.
    Some driving operators require customers to complete an Indemnity/Damage waiver form on the day of the experience.  This may state that the driver will be liable for a fixed amount of costs should they damage the vehicle whilst driving.  Most of these suppliers are able to provide Indemnity/Damage Waiver at a small additional fee (usually £20-£45) payable on site.  The purchase of this is optional and is in addition to the Public Liability Insurance held by all venues.  The full details of any indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the activity operator.  We are unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of these products.
    A cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher
