Inject Some Humour Into Your Christmas With Scribbler’s Ever Expanding Gift Range!

We all know and love Scribbler cards, but did you know that in our 34 stores nationwide we have made a concerted effort to expand our gift ranges? Emily Hick, our new gift buyer has expanded on gifts, stationery and packaging including own brand Scribbler products, so that our customers now have a wider range of options to accompany that integral card choice. We caught up with her to find out about the exciting plans Scribbler has to expand its gift range...

What sort of gifts/gift ranges did you want to expand on and why?

When I joined Scribbler I was most excited to develop more own brand gifts. There are so many amazing cards here developed by the design team that can be translated onto gifts such as mugs, wash bags and cushions. So far we have seen great success on whatever own brand gifts we have tried from notebooks, diaries and tote bags so I am really excited to continue to develop the range further. It is increasingly important to do this in order to differentiate from our competition. We don’t want to have the same gifts that are in every other shop.

What are your personal favourites amongst the new gift ranges and why?

My favourite gifts currently are the Prosecco sweets from Sugarsin. I love the fun and bright coloured packaging, and at only £3, these are the perfect gift to give alongside a card.

We have seen huge success on our Lightbox and Speech Bubble lights, they are great for parties and the countdown to Christmas, and are a real trend in the market right now.

Why are Scribbler gifts better/different from than other High Street gift options?

Since I have joined I have tried to source gifts from suppliers that do not sell to our competitors or are featured on the rest of the high street. I try to ensure there is a fun theme or unique design that you won’t get anywhere else!
